What to Expect
Spend five days immersed in a small group of like-minded teachers and practitioners, where each day blends education, embodiment, and restoration. You'll learn the Thai Yin Yoga method through hands-on practice, thoughtful discussion, and guided teaching while enjoying nourishing meals, meaningful conversations, and time to reconnect with yourself in nature.
Expect slow mornings, restorative movement, intentional touch, chef-prepared meals, evening circles, laughter, deep rest, and a supportive community that will continue long after the training ends.

We ease into our day by first tuning into our prana then eating a nourishing breakfast to fuel ourselves for the learning and hands-on practice to come.

We jump right in with movement to utilize the best hours of your day for practicing hands-on assists.

We pause for a moment to refuel and give our minds and bodies a rest.

Learn the art of teaching a Thai Yin class. In this portion of the day we’ll cover important topics like: sequencing, playlisting, intuition strengthening, vocal confidence + sound scapes, marketing + business and so much more of what makes a Thai Yin class so powerful.

We get back to the mat to continue integrating the understanding of safe + confident touch into our bodies.

The day begins to come to a close with our final moment of prayer over dinner, grateful for a good day lived.

Before we head to bed, we integrate the practice into our bodies, minds, and spirits through a real-life experience of the practice. Led by Sam and co-assisted by Kevin.

Nope :) This training is open to all yoga teachers that are interested in learning to give hands-on assists safely and confidently.

Yes! Sam is a 500 Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher who has completed 500 hours of formal yoga training in Costa Rica + India and logged at least 2,000 hours of teaching experience. This course is a YA continued education program.

Everything included! Just bring your beautiful self and the yoga mat + props you’re most connected to, we’ll take care of the rest, meaning food, accommodation, training, materials + an amazing sangha.

Items depend on location. If this is an airbnb-style retreat, please bring your own yoga mat, 2 blocks, a bolster, and a blanket if possible. If you’re traveling from afar, we will take care of it! If we are at a retreat center, everything (including all the yoga props) will be provided - thanks for your understanding!
